kai harada

(long extended version)

...was born and raised in southwestern Connecticut to a Japanese father (world-renowned cellist Sadao Harada), and a violinist / music teacher mother of Slovak descent. His upbringing included attending countless concerts and sitting in on many recording sessions, not to mention many trips around the world. At age four (or was it five?) he began classical piano training with Michael Thomopoulos, formerly of the Ichimura Music School in Fort Lee, New Jersey, and throughout the following ten years performed in student recitals in New Jersey, at Steinway Hall on 57th Street, and at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. For many of the formative years of his life, Kai thought he would become a recording engineer, which was a perfect coupling of music and technology, but in junior high, he was introduced to the theatre, and over the next few years he decided that theatrical sound design was an even better melding of music and technology.

That is all there is to say; I'm just happy the frames work.
